摘要：

For the different modality medical images provide non-overlay complementary information, a multimodality medical image fusion method is proposed based on wavelet packet transform. Two different fusion rules are used in CT and MRI images fusion experiment. The result shows that the fusion method based on wavelet packets is effective and the fusion image can preserve the useful details information of each input image.
