In the present study, the metaphysical-theological thought of Erich Przywara (1889-1972) is analyzed in order to bring to light his vision of the supernatural end of man. Przywara, focusing on the concept of "analogia entis" as a key to understand the relationship between the creature and the Creator, also considers other terms, among which "potentia oboedientialis" is the most important. In the article, the exact meaning of the term is deciphered in order to show that the theological anthropology of Przywara constitutes an original and interesting contribution to the debate on the supernatural.
