A novel technology for linearizing Traveling Wave Tube amplifiers

摘要
Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) has great potential to provide high power for wireless communication. However, its poor linearity has limited its application. This paper describes a new method to linearize TWTs based on the physics of the device[1,2]. The technique requires low-cost circuitry. The test results show a dramatic improvement.
