Electrocatalytic oxidation of glucose by poly (o-aminophenol)/nickel modified carbon paste electrode

摘要
Poly(o-aminophenol)/nickel modified carbon paste electrode (Ni/P-OAP/CPE) was prepared by potential scan electropolymerization in an aqueous solution. Ni2+ ions were incorporated by iimmersion of the modified electrode in a 1 mol/L nickel sulfate solution. A couple of well-developed stable redox waves was observed on Ni/P-OAP/CPE after 70 cycles of potential scanning in 0.09 mol/L NaOH solution Cyclic voltammetric experiments showed that the Ni/P-OAP/CPE exhibited an electro catalytic effect on the glucose oxidation. The oxidation of glucose was affected by the thickness of films, the concentration of nickel ion in the films, pH of the electrolyte. All of these conditions have been studied in order to achieve stable response current during the oxidation of glucose. The electrocatalytic oxidation peak current of glucose exhibits a good linear dependence on the concentration of glucose in the range of 0.01-0.08 mmol/L glucose and their quantification can be done easy.
