Effects of Tiotropium Bromide Combined with Budesonide on Pulmonary Function and Blood Gas Indexes in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

摘要
This study was designed to investigate the effects of tiotropium bromide combined with budesonide on pulmonary function and blood gas indexes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. A total of 168 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) were selected and randomly divided into control group and study group. The control group was given budesonide treatment, and the study group was treated with tiotropium bromide along with budesonide. The recovery of lung function, respiratory rate and heart rate in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group (p < 0.05), but there was no significant difference in diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure between the two groups (p > 0.05). In addition, the PaO2 and LVEF indexes of the study group were significantly (p < 0.05) higher than control group, while the PaCO2 index was significantly lower than control group. Finally, the levels of TGF-beta, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in the study group were lower than control group. Tiotropium bromide combined with budesonide has ideal therapeutic effect in the treatment of chronic pulmonary obstructive pulmonary disease, which should be further promoted and applied in clinic.
