摘要：
In this paper, the author analyzes the features of geographical indications and appellations of origin in the argentine law. In Argentina, that law is complementary to the vitivinicultural legislation, and was aimed at the protection to quality wines and reconversion of vineyards but it has several deficiencies and gaps. These particularities influence in the methodology, normative structure, in the powers of the administrative authority of registration, control and others rules of public law.
