摘要
Operation of distribution grids undergoes dramatic changes in the era of smart grid deployment, mainly due to a higher penetration of distributed generation, which is linked to an ever-increased share of power electronics mediated energy transfer. Thanks to advancements in instrumentation, including smart metering and other high reporting rate measurements, one can unlock deployment of advanced technologies and dedicated smart grid services by means of standardized software platform able to support data interoperability and information consistency. This new measurement set-up in smart grids brings a measurement synchronization potential and, therefore, opens the way for developing applications able to analyze high amount of data. Among the most suitable measurement devices used for power system monitoring and control and having high accuracy, synchronization features and high reporting rates, one can count the Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) and the microPMUs. When deployed with the highest reporting rate (50, and up to 100 frames/s), the volume of information coming from the measurements is huge and requires solutions for data management. The Big Data Analytics (BDA) concept and technique would give us the solution to this issue. In this paper, applications developed for the FIWARE platform are presented, as developed in the frame of the ERA NET project FISMEP.
