摘要：
Late prehistoric and early protohistoric Mississippian components have long been recognized along the Left-hand Chute of Little River, in northeastern Arkansas. They have a distinctive ceramic complex, but it has never been described in the professional literature. In this article a summary of current knowledge is provided.
