摘要
Optimal inspection planning of the airport pavement is studied based on Value of Information (VoI). The authors propose the methodology for optimal inspection planning of civil engineering structures based on VoI, which is one of decision making theory under uncertainty, and has been used in many fields. It can be interpreted to be expectancy of risk reduction or benefit by inspection information. The airport runway for the case study is composed of 100 units. The size of each unit is 21 by 30 meter. After constructing deterioration lines, namely their slope and intercept, for each unit separately considering spatial smoothness of the both parameters with Hierarchical Bayesian, we discuss optimal inspection timing of the airport runway based on the deterioration curves with VoI, and the applicability of the proposed method.
