摘要
A dual-band antenna system for multiple-input multiple-out (MIMO) applications in 5G mobile terminals is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna system consists of eight antenna elements which are placed along two long edges of the mobile terminal. Good antenna total efficiency is obtained for both the low band (3.3-3.6GHz) and high band (4.8-5.0GHz), while the isolation is better than 15dB between each port. Envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) and channel capacity (CC) are used to evaluate the MIMO performance of the proposed MIMO antenna system. An antenna prototype is fabricated and measured; and a quite good agreement between simulation and measurement is obtained.
