Microwave dielectric properties of low εr BaZnP2O7 ceramic

摘要
A novel microwave dielectric ceramic of BaZnP2O7 with low dielectric constant and high quality factor was synthesized by a solid-state reaction method. A dense ceramic with 96.9% relative density was obtained when the ceramic was sintered at 875 degrees C for 2 h. The BaZnP2O7 ceramic sintered at 875 degrees C for 2 h possessed good microwave dielectric properties, characterized as epsilon(r)=8.4, Qxf=27,925 GHz (at 11.1 GHz), and tau(r)f=56.7 ppm/degrees C.
