Application of wavelet and wavelet packet in signal de-noising

摘要
The application of wavelet in signal de-noising is analyzed and it is simulated by MATLAB. Because wavelet only decomposes the low frequency part of a signal, there is a limitation. Wavelet packet overcomes this limitation, so it has better effect in signal de-noising. The de-noising effects of two methods is compared by simulation and it is improved the acquiescent threshold and the adjustable threshold of signal de-noising based on wavelet packet.
