摘要
Human-system research constitutes a major activity within the OECD Halden Reactor Project (HRP) research programme. The activity is experimentally oriented, the main tool being the Halden Man-Machine Laboratory, HAMMLAB. The HAMMLAB control room is coupled to a simulator of a nuclear plant. The overall goal of the studies is to investigate how modem computer technology can be efficiently used in control of complex processes where safety and efficiency are important factors. Emphasis is put on adaptation of technology to the characteristics of the human being in control of the process. Research items include human error analysis, human centred automation, development and evaluation of computerised operator support systems and control room concepts.
