摘要：
The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of lubricating oils on the reliability of gears. The experimental investigation of the influence of some industrial oils on the tribological behavior of gears of machine tool has been carried out at a metalworking factory. The paper present the followings: classification of industrial oils for gears flow chart of the choice of industrial oils for gears analysis of symptoms and cause of failures of gears reliability curves of gears in function of lubricating oils under presented operating conditions of investigation Reliability of gears was found to be affected by both the type of lubricating oil and grade of viscosity.
