Comparison of model-based pose evaluation algorithm in traffic scenes

摘要
A fundamental issue in 3D model-based vehicle tracking is pose recovery consisting of pose evaluation and refinement. In this paper, we compare two algorithms for pose evaluation. For the sake of self-containedness, the algorithms are first outlined. Experimental results under various conditions are then shown. We compare and analyze the results, and also discuss possible improvements of the two algorithms that may lead to better performance.
