摘要
With knowledge economy coming up, organizations are increasingly recognizing the importance of managing what they consider their most valuable asset: knowledge. Software corporations, as knowledge intensive organization, should pay much more attention on managing their knowledge asset. How to manage knowledge in software corporations is a big problem with which all software corporations must be confronted. In this paper, we explore classification of knowledge in software corporations, and its formalization using ontology. We define three types of important domain ontologies such as project, employee skill and document, and represent them with language of OWL edited by Protege 2000. Furthermore, A kind of ontology based classification algorithm is designed to precisely classify information or knowledge into different types. We also develop the framework of ontology-based knowledge management platform based on Java, which can be efficiently supported to practise for knowledge management in software corporations.
