Effects of the TIC in the less developed countries

Since the nineties we have been spectators of an important international economic transformation. In it, the use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has played a key role, because many agents think these technologies can have clear economic effects at a national and international level. Many authorities are convinced that investing in ITC and encouraging its use among population will result in a growth of employment and development. However, it is not so clear if we observe what is happening and how ITC are being developed in some developing countries. In this research paper authors analyze how ICT are being implemented in developing countries and if these technologies will benefit them, or will make some of their current problems get worse.
