摘要：

The aim of the article is to analyze about the environmental problems faced in mining industry for corporate social responsibility. Fifteen crucial factors are considered from reputed literature journals and expert's opinion from the industries. Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) is used to evaluate the factors identified and the results are verified by using covariance based structural equation modeling (CBSEM). Unregulated and illegal mines, Health of the local population, Acid rock drainage, Formation of sinkholes, Usage of Heavy metals and CO2 emitted by vehicles are found as the most influencing factors and these factors are taken into consideration and mitigation technique is applied and the factors causing environmental challenge is reduced.
