摘要：

During the last twenty years the situation of editors in the German publishing industry has changed a lot: from permanently employed to freelance editors. This paper shows how their work has to be made visible in the credits as it is the case for translators, printers, and other service providers in the field. This article describes good practices for publishers and editors to lift especially freelance editors into visibility.
