摘要
This paper proposes an ultra-wideband discone antenna. The operation frequency band is 1-18GHz. The discone antenna can be regarded as the deformation of the bicone antenna. The size of the disk structure affects the radiation pattern and the distance between the disk and the cone affects the impedance matching. The VSWR measurement results are less than 2.3, the gain results are between 1-8dB and the radiation pattern has stable omnidirectivity in the operation frequency. The proposed antenna has been applied in many systems.
