Research on techniques and Tactics Used by Zhang lie in the 51st World Table Tennis Championships

Through the methods of literature review, video observation, and mathematical statistics, the author analyzes the techniques and tactics used by Zhang Jike in serving period, receiving period and the persisting period in four crucial matches of the 51st World Table Tennis Championships. Results showed that Zhang Jike was flexible in applying tactics, and had an obvious advantage in three periods. The key to success was his positive and initiative, but a little bad on defense in the persisting period.
