For the preparation of polyamide micro-spheres, the influences of polymerization parameters on particle size and size distribution were investigated to find out the reasonable polymerization way of polyamide particles, such as the concentration of stabilizer, nucleating agent and activator, polymerization temperature. Scanning electronic microscope (SEM) and optical microscope were used to characterize the morphology and size of the particles. The results showed that the size of polyamide microspheres decreases with increasing amount of stabilizer and nucleating agent, stirring speed, while increases with increasing amount of activator, polymerization time and polymerization temperature.
