摘要
This paper presents a flatness-based profile control design method for a certain class of transport processes with distributed control. The control design is based on the method of characteristics. The design method is demonstrated by a continuous furnace to solve different control tasks. Additionally, an observer design based on the method of characteristic is presented. Sensors which are moving with the product are considered for the observer design.
