In this paper, by using the fixed point theorem and operator spectral theorem, the author establishes the theorem on the existence of positive solutions for the fourth-order boundary value problem with variable parameters as follows: [GRAPHIC] where A (t), B (t) is an element of C[0, 1] and f (t, u) : [0, 1] x [0, infinity) -> [0, infinity) is continuous.
