摘要：
This article focuses on the relation between social inequality and the agency of young persons. From a perspective on processes of socialisation the creation of agency in everyday life is analysed. Based on a formulation of youth as a particular "Lebenslage" ("social life situation') the article assesses the possibility of youth policy as a policy of empowerment.
