摘要
In today's dynamic era, analysis of risk is a critical process in supply chain management. With the proliferation in the magnitude of vulnerabilities, the esteem given to risk examination has increased manifold. This study illustrates how to minimize risk taking into account the two major dimensions of risk management, i.e., qualitative and quantitative. To set up a value-added supply chain integrated, fuzzy AHP model has been used for weighing various factors such as market characteristics, political/economic stability, natural/man-made disaster, management-related issues, legal issues, financial issues, technical resources, and market strength, which are responsible for overall risk assessment. The analysis will be useful for manufacturing and service industries.
