摘要
A contemporary e-Learning material, attractive to school children and competing the industrial computer and video games is in great need in Europe and whole world. Two first attempts (2003 and 2006) to create such content based on a local heritage were held in Neringa, Nida, what become a real e-Learning Experimenting Field for many European participants while creating an Alternative Reality Game in competitive environment. The aims and the results of two EC projects: CHIMER and eMAPPS considered in this article in detail. The national teams from eight countries learned a lot about the local heritage content: the amber, vetrunges, krikstai and the usage of modem IT devices during the summer schools, organized in Nida as the outcome of mentioned EC projects in ICT Programme. The summer schools were good examples of high tech courses for teachers creating attractive games usable as e-Learning material in computer literacy, information architecture, and new means of cultural heritage usability.
