摘要
in this paper we have analyzed the thermal and electrical performance of a photovoltaic thermal (PV/T) solar energy system featuring hybrid unglazed collectors for a residential building containing twenty residential apartments in the Gaza Strip. The design guaranteed that the cogeneration system covered the majority of the domestic hot water (DHW) demand within the residential building satisfying 80% solar fraction. The number of the parallel connected PVT collectors required to cover thermal and electrical demands was determined. The size of the hot water storage tank was also assigned. The sizes of the DC/AC inverter and battery bank capacity were also calculated. Amount of green house gas (6[16) emission reductions was also recorded.
