摘要
This work deals with developing and analysis of Aluminium Composites graphite reinforcement. An attempt has been made to study the tensile strength and hardness of the developed composite. The surface of the developed composite was captured using SEM images and where compared with the base materials. Also, the wear behaviour of the developed composites was compared with the base metal and the optimal parameters for the developed composites were identified using taguchi's method. The results were compared with the existing composites and the developed composites showed better mechanical behavioural Characteristics. L9 orthogonal array was used for experimentation with an assumption of wear rate being smaller. Taguchi's methodology was used to find the optimal conditions to attain lower wear rate.
