摘要：
Recent progress in the study of atomic collisions using positronic projectiles is outlined and advances which might ensue from the production of more intense positron beams are indicated. Material in this paper was contained in a lecture delivered at the ''Workshop on Intense Positron Beams in Europe'' held at UCL on the 18th and 19th September, 1995.
