摘要
This paper presents a new constant transconductance (gm) technique for rail-to-rail CMOS operational amplifier input stages. The proposed technique can provide a constant transconductance value over the whole common-mode range with low current consumption. Also, the technique ensures no additional current at the output of the rail-to-rail input stage. To prove its advantages, the technique was integrated in a chopper stabilized operational amplifier. The simulation results show a transconductance variation of only 4% and a constant unity gain bandwidth.
