RESEARCH ON REGIONAL ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

With the continuous deepening of economic reform, resource-based regions have brought huge ecological pressure while achieving rapid economic growth. Under the traditional economic development mode of high-intensity development and low-level utilisation, the ecological environment protection and economic and social development of resource-based regions have produced serious inequality. Therefore, under the background of the old and the new contradictions, innovating the industrial transformation path of resource-based regions and promoting the coordinated development of ecological and economic in resource-based regions is the only way to realise the sustainable development of resource-based regions. This paper studies the regional economic transformation from the perspective of ecological environment protection. The results show that a new direction of industrial development can be established for resource-based regions by doing a good job in overall industrial planning, developing green circular economy, innovating ecological governance model and improving industrial innovation ability. The research results provide a certain reference value for leading the resource-based regional economy out of the predicament.
