THE MEDIATING ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL AGILITY

摘要
The uncertainty created by the rapid change first showed its effect on production systems. The delays of organizations making serial and lean production in responding to this rapid change have put them at a disadvantage. Today, unforeseen changes, unprecedented threats in the business environment and uncertainty have made it difficult for organizations to deal with these problems through classical management methods. The organizational agility issue that emerged for these reasons is very important for the survival of organizations. It is clear that organizational communication must be strong in order for organizational agility to be effective, especially where the leader's influence cannot be denied. In this study, the mediating effect of organizational communication on the relationship between organizational agility and strategic leadership was investigated. A survey was conducted with 482 employees from different private sectors operating in Kirsehir. According to the results of the research, a positive and significant relationship was determined between strategic leadership and organizational agility. It has also been found that organizational communication mediates the relationship between strategic leadership and organizational agility.
