摘要：
Pleopeltis guttisquamata, a new epiphyte fern from the inselbergs of Espirito Santo, is described and illustrated. This new species belongs to the Pleopeltis squamata complex. Morphologically and geographically, P. guttisquamata most resembles P. hirsutissima s. str. and P. monoides, to which it is compared. We also present a key to all species of Pleopeltis occurring in the state of Espirito Santo, and a table containing the diagnostic characters of the members of the P. squamata complex in the region.
