摘要
The past twenty years have witnessed tremendous growth in spectral and sensing applications over bandwidths exceeding 1 GHz. Wideband signal processing is taking a toll on the performance and design complexity of the conventional data converters. A primary bottleneck that is faced while designing the ADCs working at such a high digitization rate is power consumption. A lot of the wideband signals have useful information spread across a few frequencies mostly. Taking the advantage of sparsity and incoherence of signals, compressed sensing allows us to sense the signal in an encoded form at a rate much lesser than the Nyquist sampling rate. The primary objective of this research is to design an Analog-to-Information converter that could be used as a replacement for ADCs in wideband RF receivers.
