摘要
The fault arc in air has been modelled in laboratory conditions in order to measure pressure and temperature increments during the initial phase of the arc. The tested arc current was in the range from 500 A to 1400 A. The aim of the work was to determine and model some characteristic parameters of the arc useful in elaboration of the fast fault arc extinguishing method.
