High magnetic field dependence of spin fluctuations in YBa2Cu3O7

摘要
The influence of a high external magnetic field has been investigated on the so-called resonance peak of YBa2Cu3O7 by inelastic neutron scattering, Under a field of 11.5 T, this peak remains almost unaffected: no shifting of the peak energy is observed. However, a line broadening occurs whithout change of the peak amplitude.
