摘要
This study focused on the effect of PTFE powder on the bio-POPU foam properties. It was found that bio-foam composite produced using closed mould method obtained the desired density and porosity properties. The SEM morphology showed that bio-foam has homogenous cell structure with regular shape cells' interconnection. Apparently, bio-composite foam has less homogenous cell structure and irregular cell's interconnection and the average cell size reduced from 657.91 mu m to 471.96 mu m. Compressive result showed positive reinforcement effect of PTFE powder as compression strength increased from 0.45 MPa to 0.71 MPa and modulus increased from 7.86 MPa to 21.47 MPa.
