摘要
A mesoporous thin film form of tantalum oxide, a wide band gap and semiconductor ceramic, is prepared by templating a tantalum silica precursor (tantalum ethoxide) with pluronic P 123 copolymer (EO20PO70EO20; M.W 5800) using sol-gel-based spin casting approach. The obtained crystalline phase was characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements at - 196 degreesC and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. Such form of tantalum oxide is believed to have potential applications in novel devices such as solar cells and photocatalysts. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
