摘要：
m-Phenoxy benzaldehyde cyanohydrin was condensed with different amines leading to formation of (+/-) alpha-amino nitriles which were then treated with nitrous acid and ethanolic HCl to get cyclic sydnonimine hydrochlorides (3). IR spectra and elemental analysis supported constitution of the products. The products were tested for antibacterial, antifungal and insecticidal activity.
