摘要
Network performance measurement is the most basic and effective way to quantify network performance indicators, understand and recognize network behavior. Delay, packet loss, and available bandwidth are the three key attributes for evaluating network performance. Although there are many methods for measuring these three parameters, there will be relatively large errors when they are applied to mobile wireless networks. It is mainly due to the unique channel characteristics and mobile randomness of mobile wireless networks, which makes measurement difficult. This paper proposes an accurate measurement algorithm suitable for mobile networks in terms of delay, packet loss, and available bandwidth. The algorithm can measure the fast-changing mobile wireless networks performance at high frequency, and fully consider the internal relationship of the three parameters. At the same time, it can dynamically and quickly adjust the sending rule of the probe packet according to the measured results, reducing the errors in the measurement process and improving the measurement accuracy.
