摘要
In this paper, we experimentally compare the performances between the peak frequency tracking technique (PFT) and outlier rejection technique (OLR) in a photoplethysmographic (PPG) heart rate (HR) sensing during exercises. Experimental results involving thirteen subjects show that the PFT outperforms the OLR for the forearm position of exerciser achieving the root mean square error (RMSE) of 10.62 beats per minute (bpm), whereas the former underperforms the latter for the waist position achieving the RMSE of 42.28 bpm.
