CD133 (AC133) antigen expression on leukemic cells of adults with acute leukemia

摘要：
CD133 antigen is a marker of undifferentiated cells of the haematopoietic system. We have tested its expression on leukemic cells of 18 patients with AML and 5 patients with B-ALL and compared this with expression of other markers such as CD34, CD117, CD15 and CD14. Positive correlation between CD133 and CD34 and CD117 expression was found in AML, while between CD133 and CD15 and CD14 expression the correlation was inverse.
