摘要：
A short summary of the articles in this special issue is given. Then, the articles are related to general research questions including problems of teacher judgment, judgment accuracy and characteristics and correlates of diagnostic competencies. Finally, some challenges for further research are addressed that are focused on elaborating the construct of diagnostic competences and relating it to other domains of teacher knowledge.
