摘要
The relationship between Criminal Law and new technologies has never been very close. However, the incidence of Artificial Intelligence systems in society is not leaving anything untouched. The aim of this paper is to offer a first approximation to this matter and the problems it is presenting. Firstly, it begins by making a brief review of the origin and foundations of intelligent systems. Subsequently, it tries to establish the common ground that exists between Criminal Law and Artificial Intelligence to focus, finally, on the possibility or not of demanding criminal responsibility to an Artificial Intelligence system in case it committed a crime.
