摘要
On October 5 and 6, 2006, DBE TECHNOLOGY GmbH ran an international workshop in Peine about the establishment of organizations for final storage. The event was attended by representatives of the final storage organizations of seventeen European countries, the European Commission, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The starting points of this meeting were a number of projects, e.g., in the Czech Republic, in Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, and Russia, financed by the European Commission and supported in the development of national final storage programs and organizations by the organizations involved in final storage in Western Europe. The contributions by high-level representatives of European final storage organizations provided an excellent overview of the state of development reached in the respective countries. Positive as well as negative examples documented the immense importance of the appropriate types of organization in successfully coping with one of the biggest challenges our generation is facing in the nuclear field: finding solutions to the final storage problem.
