摘要
The superplasticity of Ti-Ni-Cu alloy ribbons with Cu content more than 10 at.% fabricated by melt spinning was studied. The ribbons showed perfect superelasticity. This was ascribed to the increase in the critical stress for slip deformation originated from grain size refinement and high density of dislocation. Comparing with the alloys made by conventional casting, the alloy ribbons had lower σ M and smaller stress hysteresis. Very small stress hysteresis (22 MPa) was obtained in a Ti-30Ni-20Cu alloy ribbon.
