Stability Analysis of the Slope of Municipal Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill

摘要
The failure. modes and methods of stability, analysis of the slope of municipal solid waste sanitary landfill were discussed. Taking Fuxin Landfill as an example, the slice method based on the limit equilibrium theory was used to analyze the slope stability of the landfill body and to determine the optimum slope gradient, The FLAC(3D) procedure which was designed specifically to simulate the loading process of landfill was used to certificate the optimum slope gradient obtained by the limit equilibrium theory. The results of the analysis indicate that the slope of the landfill body is in a stable state and the optimum slope gradient of the landfill body is 1:2.
