摘要
Capillary endothelial cells sense neuronal activity-evoked increases in extracellular K+ via K(IR)2.1 inwardly rectifying K+ channels. The ensuing hyperpolarization travels upstream along the vascular network, reaching arterioles and evoking vasodilation.
