Recovering Daubechies' Wavelet by Matrix Factorization

摘要：
This paper examines the construction of wavelet functions with suitable vanishing moments. We firstly design the appropriate filters and then use them to create the waveform. We will review the construction of filters by matrix factorization and show how the parameters are chosen so that the corresponding wavelet function has suitable vanishing moments. It is pointed out that the well known daubechies' wavelets as well as other wavelets with good property are recovered by matrix factorization.
